Our Seven Years in Tibet (minus 2539 days)

We are back in Kathmandu and back in our comfy hotel at the Boudha Stupa. We have so much to catch you up on: our time during the Mt. Kailash kora, the many days spent on the Tibetan plateau getting us acclimatized and ready for the 18,900 ft pass (the Droma La) that we trekked over as part of the kora and our days at Lake Manosarovar, and then Everest Base Camp before heading back to Nepal. It was an amazing adventure spent in excellent company and taking in the sights of some of the most beautiful places on this planet, not to mention the highest place on the entire planet. Photos need to be sorted and then chosen and then loaded up, but they are coming soon, just as soon as Luke and company, launch their client's new (and gorgeous!) website.

I will begin the stories tomorrow, as for today, we have been enjoyed "being home" in our old hotel room and again being Boudha. We each showered more than once in the last 24 hours, while we only had the chance to shower 3 times during the entire trip. That is only 3 times in 16 days---we smelled so badly! The lady at our hotel is washing our laundry twice to do something about it. Ha!
