We're going back and adding posts and photos from Tibet finally! I've added photos to previous posts as well.
The long drive across Western Tibet finally brought us to Lake Manasarovar, Gurla Mandata and Kailash - all three are very sacred places. We had crossed through some of the most vast, remote and remarkable scenery imaginable.
The town of Darchen where we start our kora around Kailash is an odd, dusty town, but the guesthouse is warm and the views are amazing. We just spend the night and start out the next morning.
Next up...the trek begins.
