last day in chiang mai

last day in chiang mai. packages mailed. bags lighter. a few more stops off at favorite spots this afternoon and picking up laundry before returning the scooter. i am feeling so.much.better with this newest round of antibiotics and with some great care here. tests showed i had both giardia and a pretty bad bacterial infection --- thanks india. myanmar was too much to plan right now with my just-returning energy, so we are off to cambodia for my birthday (turning 40!) and for the next 10 days. then back to myanmar if we can pull together our traveling circus. our visas there are good for a month and our friends, Brooke and Johann, have generously sent along their well planned itinerary that they are following in Myanmar just a few weeks after us. and that's what's up with us.
