Here's another quick update from Saga. We drove up from Nylam today over some big passes and finally really up in Tibet. Amazing views of the Himalaya on the way here, including stunning views of Shishipangma - the only 8000m peak fully in Tibet. More elevation gain today, I think we're about 4500m here in Saga (about 14,000ft) and from here on out, everything is this elevation or higher. Both of us are doing great with the acclimatization.
Really beautiful country up here. So vast it kind of boggles your mind. Just a few yaks and nomads here and there, but other than that, just big empty spaces and big snowy peaks.
We only have one night here, then off again tomorrow to Paryang (or something like that).
Sorry for the brief updates and lack of photos. All my computer time is soaked up getting some last minute work done while we still have a connection. I promise we'll catch up. Here are a couple from yesterday to tide you over.

What great photos! Nichole you are one smokin' hot Himalayan Mama! Got my new passport, the other one expires in Nov. Will send off today for my Indian Visa. Carrie and I are getting plenty excited for our trips. Skip and I are going to New Mexico today to see my stepson. Many thoughts and prayers for you both on your excellent adventure!
